Wall Hung Sinks

I think probably must of us are familiar with “wall hung sinks” – the type of sinks that are mounted on a wall, with no supports below them, like a counter, or console. Growing up, this is the kind of sink I always had in my home. The thing this type of sink says to me is “simplicity”.

Traditionally, these sinks were white and square. Today, there are more variations on the theme of the wall hung sink. Depending upon the manufacturer, you can now find these sinks in a variety of colors, and some variation on shape.

Further, this type of sink can go well beyond what was its tradition with a wall hung style vessel sink. This would be the height of the classification – and would take some premium plumbing work – but can you imagine the look of such a thing!
