Kitty Litter Screen

Vital to any home that includes a cat, is the ability to conceal the litter box – enter the kitty litter screen.

A screen for the litter box is a very good option – practically the best in some settings. Though there are other – perhaps, better – methods of concealing litter boxes, a litter box screen is definitely worth your consideration.

Cat litter box screens can be purchased at quality pet stores, as well as online. Find the right one, and you may never need another. You should expect to pay under $30, unless you are seeking something stylish – in as much as something regarding the world of cat litter might be stylish.

While buying your own may be convenient, making your own is the cheaper – and with the right choices made – greener thing.

Let us look at how to make your own kitty litter box screen.

Making your own screen behind which your cat can do his business need not be a big production. The act of producing a litter screen can be as simple as a couple steps.

Here is how:

  • Take three sides of a cardboard box – a tall box would be a good idea,

  • Make sure it is a box that is not too worn already, but also one that you are reusing, if you want to do the green thing,

  • Apply to each panel (of which there are six) some contact paper of your choosing.

  • Bend the finished product in a “Z” shape.

And now, you have a kitty litter screen you made yourself.

This is a design you can make more elaborate with paint, decals, wrapping paper, etc. If you have a craft making spirit, it will come out in you during this project.
